Information For EU Workers
Procedure for EU citizens coming to work on farm-
- 1. Passport / ID card to be handed to Student Liaison Officer for a copy to be taken. Passport /ID card will then be returned to EU worker. A note of the start date will be taken.
- 2. Work Permit (UK) registration form given to EU worker when passport / ID card returned.
- 3. EU worker to complete Work Permit (UK) registration form and hand back to student liaison officer to be photo copied. The copy will be kept in the EU workers personnel file.
- 4. The original Work Permit (UK) registration form will be handed back to the EU worker along with a letter on company headed paper which must be posted with the Work Permit (UK) registration form.
- 5. EU workers must then take the following to the post office to be mailed to the Home Office-

- Completed Work Permit (UK) registration form
- Passport or ID card
- Letter from employer
- 2 passport sized photographs
- £90 to cover registration
- £7 to cover postal order charge & secure postage
- 6. EU worker must then give student liaison officer proof of postage & postal order stumps which will be photocopied. A copy will be kept in personnel files and originals handed back to EU worker.
- 7. We request that EU workers must apply to the Home Office within one week of starting work on the farm.
